The Caged Bird and Ignite Competition

Speech Choir and Ignite Competition..... Hmmm....

Ohh hello there!

Every English term on our school there's this speech choir and ignite competition.

Speech Choir are performance groups that recite speeches in unison, often with elements of choreography and costuming to help the speech to life. It is also called choral speaking.

Ignite Competition/Ignite Event is a series of events where speakers have a five minutes to talk on a subject accompanied by 20 slides, for 15 seconds each, automatically advanced.

The first part that was held on this event was the ignite speech, which is the students must perform a speech about a topic he/she picked. Ignite speech is much like public speaking competition.

The second part was the Speech Choir. On speech choir they are assigned by the professor who are they combined section. So in speech choir SoMA and SoE will compete.

ABMA 155 and 153

Our block which is the ABMA 155 and the combine 153 did not won the competition but it's not important at all, the important part they successfully show to audience and judges what they did and they enjoy the whole speech choir.

The block who won the competition was the CPE 151, second place is ECE 151, and lastly the third one is the ABMA 151. I would like to congratulate the CPE 151 for getting the trophy and winning the competition. ( ´ ∀ ` )

Integrity has no need of rules

Well PUBSPE2 (Public Speaking 2) or PUBSPE subjects are the most fearful subjects of all in English term, because all students are afraid of going to the front of the classroom or in the top of the stage.

We have this event on our school which is the Public speaking competition with the theme of Integrity has no need of rules that was held on April 20, 2016.

Students must compete with each other to win. As usual if the speech of the student is beautiful or meaningful they will win.

Per block there are representative students who will be assigned by their professors, which is they will must compete with other students. Many of our block mates have been picked by our professor.

This is Jay my friend. "Maganda si Jay"

My friend joined and she got second runner up. It's great that one of my block mates have won the public speaking contest competition. ୧[ * ಡ ▽ ಡ * ]୨

I would like to congratulate my friend Jay for winning and getting the second runner up place. ╰(˵ヘωヘ✿)╯

That's all i can say about our public speaking competition. I would like to look forward on the next batch who will perform or join this event.  ( ´ ∀ ` )

Creative Storytelling

Hello guys!! (つ°ヮ°)つ

I'd like to tell you a story a short short story... just kidding XD

For many students, writing a novel summary is not exactly a glamorous assignment. But writing a novel summary using a timeline-based storytelling platform with embedded original content, hyperlinks, videos, and pictures might just make developing a re-cap.

There are so many events that was held on our term which is the English term. This is the Chants and Cheer competition, Ignite Speech, and the Speech Choir competition.

This time our school Asia Pacific College had an event which is the Creative Storytelling. This time Students are challenged to tell a story about the film's they watched.

The important part on this event is that student share their story's about the films and we have learn a new things about the creative storytelling.

Ohh! By the way i would like to say to all of the students who participate the event. YOU DID A GREAT JOB! s( ^ ‿ ^)-b

"When an author set out to tell a story in years past, he or she typically did so on paper a typewriter or by typing at a computer.
But today, storytellers find imaginative ways to share their ideas with interactive and visual elements."

Benjamin Sapida better known as Benjamin Alves is an Filipino actor and model under the management of GMA Network. Benjamin Alves was born on March 31, 1989 and he is the nephew of the Filipino actor, Piolo Pascual.

Who wants to be a millionaire

Who wants to be a millionaire is an international television game show franchise of British origin and it was adapted here in Philippines.

At it's core, the game is a quiz competition in which the goal is to correctly answer a series of fourteen (originally fifteen) consecutive multiple-choice questions, which is the questions are of increasing difficulty.

Our school Asia Pacific College (APC) held an event which is the Who wants to be a Millionaire ERC Edition. The event only held on the English Term, all of the students who has a English term subjects can participate on this event.

The game is simple as the original game itself. There are actually 17 teams, per team there are 3 students, including representative from our block. There are a few question to answer to get to the next question.

Our block didn't won the event but it's not really made us sad or anything, what was important is we gain knowledge because of the game. Overall it was very fun......... Ohh i forgot to say I'd like to say CONGRATULATION!! to the team who won the event. Keep up the good work guys... next time we will defeat you ahahaha just kidding peace brothers! (つ°ヮ°)つ

Filipino 3D computer-animated adventure film

RPG also known as Role Playing Game is a game in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making or character development.

There's this movie called RPG Metanoia which is a Filipino 3D computer-animated adventure film. It is the first full length Philippine animated film presented in 3D.

The story is about an eleven year old boy named Nico, who is addicted with online computer games, particularly RPG Metanoia. He and his friends frequent an internet cafe where they play online. For Nico a computer at home that hangs every now and then could not satiate his addiction for the game. Soon an online tournament will take a place and he and his friends are all eager to participate. Having discovered the Helmet of Destiny, an item that would lead them to victory, Nico and his friends were confident at winning the tournament. During the tournament, Nico failed to heed his friends' advice losing the game in the process.

Nico an his Friends

Just when I thought I've seen this one coming, the plot takes a turn for the better. Nico's story arc was surprisingly good and well crafted. From a self centered only child, sheltered and fearful, he transformed into the story's hero that everyone will cheer for.

As far as the 3D animation is concerned, I can say that it's good start. Then again, I always go for content and the storytelling rendition. In many ways, the creators and producers of RPG Metanoia have succeeded in making it a movie that can be enjoyed by kids and kids heart.

I myself, I'm also addicted to any RPG games. Now this time there are so many young people who is addicted on some computer games, we can't stop it because almost all people in the world plays computer games.

Chants and Cheers

Our school Asia Pacific College (APC), has a English Term called which is actually English subjects. There's this subject which is the GRAMCOM (Grammar and Composition) and the PUBSPE1 (Public Speaking 1) that has a event called the Chants and Cheers Competition 2016. On that event all SoE and SoMA 1st year students will compete. Students are given only two weeks to practice their Chants and cheers.

So in this event all students must participate and cooperate with their teammates because that is the only way to win the competition.

Actually i have make a lot of friends on this competition, because of the combining section.

Chant and cheers competition was really fun and it was challenging. Our Group called Tigers is the group which is so very energetic on that day.

ABMA 154 and 155 and some irregular students ^O^

SoE and SoMA students fought battles to win. There are a lot of people on that day specially the participants.

SoE Students who won the competition :(

Suddenly our group didn't win, but we did our best to win on that day. The winner of the Chant and cheers competition was the SoE students. Which is they have a cooperation and teamwork.

The over all of event was fun, challenging. The students were given an opportunity to show people what they can do.

Remember when there is a competition like this only teamwork and cooperation, even on games XD. Because that two are the keys to VICTORY!!. Well that's all I can say about our Chants and Cheers Competition.
